The World Champion pays respect (Open to Sean Pain)

*The arena lights go dark as four golden spotlights start circling through the crowd. They meet at the top of the entrance ramp as golden sparks shower down from the titontron.*

*The Roman March is played through the arena speakers and all of the sudden the crowd erupt in cheers as the IWA World Heavyweight Champion appears through the shower of sparks wearing his patent IWA Roman Seal t-shirt.*

*He moves to the left side of the entrance ramp and points to the crowd.*

*He then goes over the the right side of the ramp and points to the crowd.*

*Romulus moves back towards the center of the entrance ramp and kneels on one knee. He lays his World title on the ground in front of him and then puts his right arm over his heart. He mumbles a few words to himself then grabs his title, stands up and raises it to the sky with tremendous support from the crowd.*

*He starts walking down the ramp towards the ring shaking hands with fans along the way and as he gets towards the ring he rolls in under the bottom rope and goes to the corner, climbs up and raises his title once again.*

*He hops down and signals for a microphone from one of the stage hands at ringside.*

*He is handed a mic and is about to start speaking but is cut off by the crowd as they start chanting his name repeatedly.*

Crowd: "Romulus.... Romulus.... Romulus.... Romulus....Romulus.... "

*He soaks up the atmosphere and waits for the crowd to settle before starting again.*

Romulus: "At last.... the champ.... has come back.... to St. Louis!!!"

*The crowd cheer loudly full of hometown pride.*

Romulus: "So what about Meltdown hey? I mean can you believe it, here i stand, still the IWA World Heavyweight Champion and still the longest serving champion in IWA history."

*The crowd cheer again.*

Romulus: "But i do have to say, i was happy to Sean Pain back in an IWA ring again and im sure you all agree with me there."

*The crowd cheer again and chant out Sean's name. Romulus encourages them along and then waits for the crowd to settle before continuing.*

Romulus: "And what a match we gave you. Sean came back after a season long absence through injury after a severe beating from Perry Jenkins and Mutley and surprised everybody, including myself as he was announced as my opposition at Meltdown for the IWA Heavyweight title. It was a good match, i mean, it was a real good match. Make no mistake people, Sean Pain is the former Extreme Champion and one of the greatest ever wrestlers in IWA history."

*The crowd applaud in support to the respect shown by Romulus.*

Romulus: "So Sean.... I know your backstage.... why dont you come on out so i can pay my respects in person."

*Romulus moves over to the corner and leans against the ropes as he waits for a response.*

*"Gaia Bleeds" by Set Your Goals blasts through the arena. The crowd explodes as Sean Pain comes out with Alice Wonder. He brings baseball bat in his right hand and swings it ocassionally. Sean Pain smiles as a fanboy tries to reach him, Sean Pain shakes his hand and heads to the ring. He gets into the ring by steel steps as Alice Wonder follows him from behind. Alice Wonder asks for a microphone and gives it to Sean Pain. Sean Pain looks at Romulus and extends his hand. Romulus shakes it and the crowd goes wild. Sean Pain looks at the crowd, he then goes into the corner and climbs the turnbuckle and raises his hand. The crowd cheers even louder*

Sean Pain: "It's been a long time since I said, hello IWA people!!!"

*The crowd cheers loudly*

Sean Pain: "And lets cheer for my old buddy, the longest reigning champion, the first ever World Heavyweight Champion in IWA history, Romulus!!!"

*The crowd cheers and chants "Romulus Romulus Romulus"*

Sean Pain: "Such a great match we had at Meltdown, no doubt about it. So Rom, why did you call my name by the way?"

Romulus: "Well Sean, it's actually quite simple. See, as i have made it clear, i have alot of respect for you as a wrestler and for what you have done here in IWA."

*The crowd cheer*

Romulus: "You have always been a stand up guy. You have always put the fans and the company first.... and the way Perry and Mutley jumped you after your match at War Games III, well that still hits my nerves. I guess what im trying to say is that i want you to know, that i got your back."

*The crowd cheer with approval*

Romulus: "If you ever need anything.... if you need backup for a match.... im there."

*Romulus extends his arm out again to show his word*

*Sean Pain smiles and looks at Alice Wonder, Alice Wonder smirks to him*

Sean Pain: "You got respect for me? That was fantastic, I mean you're the World Heavyweight Champion and undoubtedly the longest reigning champion and the first ever World Heavyweight Champion in the history of IWA. I do want to recall when you won the rumble and claimed the ultimate prize. It was the same night when I became the first ever Extreme Division Champion. So Rom, receiving respect from someone that sitting in the top of IWA food chain that was quite an honor."

*The crowd cheers and chants both Sean Pain and Romulus's name*

Sean Pain: "See Rom, this people love you and you always come from one day to another giving your best shot, giving what this people really deserved, an entertainment and you've done it perfectly. And I gotta say, our last match at Meltdown will go down in history as one of the bests if not the best."

*The crowd starts to chanting "They're both awesome "*

Sean Pain: "And St. Louis people, I want to tell you a little facts about what really happened to me back in War Games III. We, I mean me and Perry were having a really good match. We're both got good shot for the championship. I enjoyed every minute I had until Muttley came and beat the hell out of me. They knocked me out, I can't even remember what really happened. The only thing that I can remember was I woke up in the morning of Tuesday and I can't move my body. Yes, I was unconscious for almost 48 hours. I keep waiting and forced the doctor to let me wrestle again, he rejected it. Finally just the night before Meltdown, the doctor said that I can wrestle again. So I called Alana, convinced her that I'm ready for the match against Romulus for the World Heavyweight Championship and you know what happened next."

*The crowd is silent, listening to Sean Pain*

Sean Pain: "I don't want to remember that darkest day of my life, so Romulus thank you for your offer dude because tonight when I'm standing face to face against Perry in this ring, I'll show him right in the face what is a thing called "Pain"."

*The crowd cheers, "Gaia Bleeds" by Set Your Goals hits the arena. Sean Pain followed by Alice Wonder are heading to the back*
